And yet another swap
Today I finished by blocks for the Scrappy Christmas Block Swap. It was a lot of fun to make these squares and, like my doll quilt, make the squares completely from scraps and stash. I made two different color versions of the scrappy hedgerow block and each of my three partners will get one of each. I have received blocks from two of my partners and they are so cute. I have plans for my blocks already!

DQS7
I am so excited that I got myself signed up for this little event. I had never done a quilt swap before and it was fun to be creating a surprise for someone you have never met. I finished my quilt a couple of weeks ago, but I just got around to mailing it yesterday. And here it is....
I had chased down a copy of Better Homes and Gardens Quilts and More magazine from last summer because there was a pattern in there (actually several others too) I wanted made by Happy Zombie. My partner had said she likes pinks and greens and whites and so I thought this would be a fun opportunity to try this little quilt. The entire quilt was made from scraps and from my stash. That's always a lot of fun!
I really hope she enjoys it as much as I enjoyed making it for her. Looking forward to another swap!
