The first thing I made on my new sewing machine (my early Christmas gift)! I was even able to do an all over random stippling stitch for the quilting. I have been wanting to do it for a while now! I am so excited. I passed this table runner on to a dear friend of mine.

That is really beautiful! I am a beginner at sewing and have only just learned how to run my sewing machine (which I got last Christmas). I'm always so impressed by skilled sewers and wonder if I will get there someday. Did you teach yourself or did somebody else teach you?
