He is gorgeous and handsome and everything a baby should be!! The crowd of onlookers look like they are taking to him well, especially Andrew. Hope you are feeling better, and your family present is hitting the mail tomorrow. Look for a very heavy box, and have Brian bring it in. Too heavy for woman with c-section.
I loved reading the labor/birth story too! So often, things aren't just as we had planned but they are always as His will provides--and for this sweet family that seemed to be a roller coaster joy ride and happy arrival of a new member. Congratulations to you all--party of six.
Heal, rest, drink water, eat plenty of protein, nurse, sleep, and bask in the glory of having a very new person around! These precious days pass way too quickly to be worried about laundry and house cleaning! Easier said than done, I know. ;)
What a beautiful blessing! Prayers going up for your recovery. Neither of my labors were what I had hoped either (both ending in c-section) so I remember the fear and disappointment. But that little bundle of joy is worth it all! God bless you!
Celeste, he is such a gorgeous baby. And so alert! What great photos, especially the one of all four of your children! What an exciting time this must be for them, too.
I was sorry to hear that you ended up needing a c-section (I know how disappointing that must have been), but I am so happy that all is well with you and little Michael! And I'm so glad that you were able to have your doctor that you love and trust!
I'm thinking of you all often and praying for your continued recovery. I agree with Nicole: rest, drink, eat, nurse, sleep, bask, and PRAISE GOD!!! :)
