Silly Music Question

A really important question for my readers:

Do any of you own any music done by "Mannheim Steamroller"? They used some of the music in Nicole's ballet performance the other night and I love it! But after browsing Amazon, I am overwhelmed by the choices. Thought I might poll you all and see if you have any suggestions.

I would also enjoy knowing what your absolute favorite Christmas album is. Each year finds me wanting to add on to our collection (very limited), but I am always so doubtful as to which would be a good choice.

Oh, choices, choices!

Let me know!

I would love to hear the other answers as well.
Mine may be really nerdy, but I'll share it anyway. Roger Whittaker's Christmas album. I love it because it's what we played all the time when I was a kid. His song 'Tiny Angels' is about tucking your sweet babies in to bed on Christmas Eve. But, it's a little 'country-ish' so that might change many minds. Another great one is Nat King Cole.

I love Jim Brickman's The Gift as well as a CD we have called Christmas Reflections Piano.

I wish I had advice to offer here, but unfortunately I'm in the same position as you...wanting to add to my collection but not quite sure where to begin!

Please let us know if you find something you love...good luck!

I have the Mannheim Steamroller - Fresh Aire Christmas and love it. I bought it one day after I heard it playing at the store where I was shopping. In addition to the beautiful traditional songs, it has one song called Traditions of Christmas - BEAUTIFUL! You are welcome to borrow it if you want to try it out before buying.

Other ideas: Bing Crosby - White Christmas is always one of my favorites. I like Christmas music by Perry Como, Andy Williams, and Roger Williams. But I grew up listening to them, so they may not be your first pick.

Also, I found this one CD called "The Ultimate Relaxation Christmas Album" on Amazon and the clips I listened to make me think this is one I need to add to my own collection! :)

I'm the anonymous person. It wouldn't let me log in to post, but I could post it anonymously. Isn't that odd?

My parents had several of the Manheim Steamroller Fresh Aire Christmas as well! It was excellent. I would defintely add it to your collections! I have one called "A Manheim Steamroller Christmas Live" and it is nice except for the "Live " part. It distracts me to have all of the talking, cheering, and clapping.

It also is not letting me post except anonymously! Oh well!
